WORKSHOPS MONDAY
Workshop A-H:
Linedance(with Noelle)
In this class Noelle Verrieras will teach us two fun, short choreographies that we can use to add some country spice to the western themed dance Monday night, and you’ll get the chance to get aquainted with ‘disco o madison’ in this fun line dancing class.
Art class (with Bob Ross)
Ever heard about Bob Ross? Join this class where we will follow one of Bob Ross’ videos and create our own versions of his magical landscape paintings. Charlotte Haibrock will be there to set it up – and occasionally hit pause if necessary 😉
Detect, Defuse & Defend: Handling Potential Violent Encounters (with Christiaan)
This workshop provides foundational training to recognize, de-escalate, and—if necessary—defend against physical violent encounters. Because such situations trigger shock to our emotional and physiological systems, our logical brain often gets bypassed, leaving us reliant on primal, instinctive reactions.
Instead of relying on complicated martial arts techniques, we work with your brain and body’s natural responses under high stress. Through practical theory, visualization, video analysis, and realistic scenario training, you’ll learn to trust and use your instincts safely and effectively—while having some fun along the way! :)
The method draws on scientific research and practical use by professionals across many fields—schoolteachers, security personnel, and special forces alike. No worries, we won't be doing any pushups, unless everyone really wants to....
Trial of Our Faith (with Elder Bernskov)
Elder Erik Bernskov, a local seventy, will host a class and discussion about dealing with trials in our life, especially trials of faith. Do you want the spiritual highlights of the sabbath to feed into your Monday, this is the class to join.
Westecoast Swing (with Noelle)
Noelle Verrieras has more dancing skills to share and in this class we’ll learn to swing or be swung by our partner to almost any amazing beat you can find. So bring your dancing shoes and come have fun.

How the 12-step program Healed My Dyfunctional Relationship with Church and Gave Me a Testimony About Jesus Christ (with Katarina)
-Have you ever felt disconnected from church, or unsure how to reconcile faith with your personal struggles? You're not alone. In this powerful and deeply personal workshop, Katarina Möllerström shares how the 12-step program transformed her life — not just by healing emotional wounds and generational trauma, but by laying the foundation for a real, vibrant testimony of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re navigating addiction, emotional pain, spiritual confusion, or simply longing for something more, the 12 steps offer a structured, grace-filled path toward emotional, mental, and spiritual wholeness. Through community, accountability, and self-discovery, Katarina found a new way to understand herself, her faith, and her place in the church — and she believes this process can do the same for you.
“It wasn’t until I started working the steps that the gospel finally made sense to my heart.” — Katarina Möllerström
No matter where you are on your journey, this workshop is an invitation to begin again — to heal, to hope, and to find Christ in a deeper, more personal way
